Who runs this site

I am Marie. I offer tooth gems in Tbilisi, Georgia, under the name House of Gems Beauty, and I carry out every visit myself.

Hosting

This site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, United States.

The host processes technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and to protect it.

Terms of a visit

The work I offer is cosmetic. It is not dental treatment, and it does not replace a dentist. If you have pain, decay, gum disease or any condition affecting your teeth, see a dentist before you arrange a visit.

The prices are the ones shown on this site. The journey is included anywhere in Tbilisi, and a visit starts at 40 GEL. When two or more people have gems at the same address, each of them gets 10% off.

You pay at the end of the visit, in cash in lari or by transfer via the TBC or Bank of Georgia apps. Nothing is paid in advance.

Nothing is held until we have agreed a day, so until then there is nothing to cancel. Once we have agreed, tell me the evening before if the day no longer works. If traffic delays me, I message you as soon as I know, and you are never charged for my lateness.

If a gem I set comes off within 14 days of the visit, I set it again free, anywhere in Tbilisi. Touch-ups to my work within those 14 days are free too. After 14 days, a replacement gem costs 40 GEL, and a custom shape that comes off is priced as a new shape.

I set gems from the age of 16. This is my own rule, not the law. At 16 or 17, a parent or legal guardian must be present for the whole visit, agree to it, and confirm it in writing. A WhatsApp message from them is enough. Under 16, I say no.

I may decline or end a visit at my discretion.

Under the Law of Georgia on the Protection of Consumer Rights, you can withdraw from a visit agreed at a distance within 14 calendar days of agreeing it, without giving a reason. Since nothing is paid in advance, cancelling before the visit costs nothing. If you ask me to come within those 14 days, and accept that you then lose this right, it ends once the work has been fully carried out.

Personal data

The law that applies is the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection of 14 June 2023. I, Marie, am the controller of your data: the person who decides what is kept and why. You can reach me on WhatsApp at +995 568 947 261.

This site has no database, and my host never receives what you type. The request page writes your message on your own device. Nothing leaves your device until you open WhatsApp from the page, or send the message yourself.

What I keep: your phone number and WhatsApp profile, which come with any WhatsApp message; your first name; your district; your address once we have agreed a day; and anything you choose to tell me.

Why I keep it: to arrange your visit and carry it out. The legal basis is the visit you asked for. For health information, such as tooth sensitivity or dental work, the basis is your written consent, and a message counts. Without a first name and an address, I cannot come.

Who receives it: I share it with no one. Our messages travel through WhatsApp, run by Meta, which may process them outside Georgia. The button that opens WhatsApp puts the prepared message in a link to Meta's wa.me service. Meta may receive that link, and your browser may keep it in its history. The note you can add on the request page never goes into that link. Once a message is sent, its content is end-to-end encrypted. The metadata, such as who wrote to whom and when, is not. My host also processes IP addresses, possibly outside Georgia (see Hosting).

How long I keep it: in our WhatsApp conversation, until 14 days after the visit, the period in which setting a gem again is free. Then I delete it from my side. Your own copy stays in your chat history.

Your rights: you can ask me, free of charge, what I hold about you, and get a copy. You can have it corrected. You can ask me to stop processing it, to block it or to delete it. You can ask to receive it in a form you can pass on to someone else. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to me on WhatsApp. You can also complain to the State Audit Office of Georgia, or to a court.

If you are 16 or 17, I use health information about you only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Nothing is used for marketing without your separate consent.

Photographs on this site

The images on this site are illustrations. They are generated by software or licensed from a picture library, and they do not document work I have carried out. Any person shown is a model or a synthetic image, not a client of mine and not me. Licences and provenance are recorded for every image, with a model release wherever an identifiable person appears, and can be produced on request.

A photograph of a client’s own smile appears here only where she has asked for it in writing. It is labelled as hers, and it is removed as soon as she asks me on WhatsApp, at +995 568 947 261, to withdraw it.

Intellectual property

The text, the logo and the visual identity of this site belong to me, Marie (House of Gems Beauty), and may not be reproduced without permission.

The images are a separate matter: they are licensed or generated, not owned by me. See "Photographs on this site" above.
