The visit
How a house call works
Around thirty minutes at your own table, plus ten to set up and pack away.
The arrival
I message when I set off. At the hour you chose, at the address you gave — a clean cloth over your table, the case unpacked, the lamp set. Five minutes and we are ready.
The choosing
We open the case in your own mirror's light. The gem you pick here is the gem you will see tomorrow morning, which is exactly why it should be chosen here.
The preparing
The tooth is cleaned and polished, then the surface is prepared with a dental etching gel for a few seconds and rinsed. No drilling, no filing, nothing cut away.
The setting
The gem is placed dry first and you check it in the mirror. Nothing is bonded until you say yes. Then it is set with dental adhesive and cured under the lamp.
Your after
Aftercare, and a photograph in your own window light if you would like one — yours to keep, published nowhere unless you ask me to. Then everything I brought leaves with me, waste included.

What arrives with me
- A sealed single-use kit, opened at your table
- The full case: Swarovski crystals, shapes, initials
- Dental adhesive and a curing lamp
- A protective cloth for your table
- My own task light — domestic lighting is never enough for this work
What I ask of you
- A table and a chair with a back
- A socket within reach
- Forty to seventy minutes
- Nothing else.
Your home does not need to be tidy. I have worked at kitchen tables, on balconies and in offices. Pets and children are fine — nothing needs moving.
Together
Come as one, or as four.
A small salon takes one of you at a time; the others wait on chairs. A kitchen table takes all of you at once. Bridesmaids on the morning of the wedding, a birthday, a hen night, three friends on a Sunday — the case opens, everyone chooses, and I work my way round the table while the rest of you talk.
